1. Who we are

One Life Cameroon is a nonprofit organization operating in Cameroon (registration number: [REGISTRATION_NUMBER]), dedicated to sustainable economic development, nutrition and food systems, clean water access, and healthcare awareness. For the purposes of this policy, One Life Cameroon is the data controller responsible for the personal data described below.

2. Data we collect

We only collect personal data that you provide to us directly through this website:

• Contact form: full name, email address, and message
• Volunteer application form: full name, email address, home address, date of birth, occupation, and message
• Project Proposal form: full name, email address, phone number, message, and any uploaded document
• Donations: payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers (Stripe and, where applicable, mobile money partners such as CamPay). We do not directly collect or store your card or mobile money credentials.

3. Why we collect it

We process your personal data only for the specific purpose for which it was submitted:

• To respond to inquiries submitted through our Contact form
• To review and process volunteer applications
• To review project proposals submitted by communities or partners
• To process donations and issue confirmation where applicable

We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to why you submitted it, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data from minors

Our Volunteer application form asks for date of birth. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and approve your application before submission, in accordance with Cameroonian law’s requirements for processing the data of minors. We do not knowingly collect sensitive data from minors without appropriate consent.

5. How long we keep your data

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for — for example, volunteer applications are retained for the duration of the review and engagement period, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us operate this website and process donations, including:

• Payment processors (Stripe, and mobile money partners where applicable) — to process donations

These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are contractually required to protect it.

7. International data transfers
